I Cheated, And I Feel Terrible

This past week I've been cheating... on my diet.

I threw out the gluten-free life for a temporary spree of McDonald's fries, Oreos, and pizza. If it was bad for me, I probably ate it.

Was it worth it? At first it most definitely was.

Now I'm facing the side effects. I feel absolutely awful. I feel sick, tired, my stomach seems to constantly be upset, and raging headaches.

But it was so hard to ignore those cravings. I am coming up on "that time of the month" (insert wink emoji here), so they've been stronger than usual. I thought with my stomach, not with my brain...

As with every setback, there's a silver lining. I've learned an important lesson. When I cheat on my gluten-free diet, I feel like s**t. If that's not a good reason to stay truthful, I don't know what is.
